PARTY TIME! Our reception was held at the beautiful Loom at Cotton Mill Place.  It was the absolute most perfect venue for our reception. It has gorgeous exposed brick, tall floor-to-ceiling columns, and a wood floor perfect for dancing.

When we first arrived at our reception, we were ushered into the bridal room at the back. It was there that we waited until our announcement. The bridal party was announced and Rhett and I immediately went in to our first dance - "Mean to Me" by Brett Eldredge. Rhett and I had never slow danced together before that. We jokingly tried to practice with each other before the wedding, but we were never successful. Once we finished our dance (which seemed like it lasted longer than it did), we rushed over to our sweetheart table where our food was quickly delivered to us. I think I had three bites of food - maybe. I was so disappointed because we picked out all this yummy food and we were really excited to eat (and I was STARVING) but never got the chance.

All of a sudden, a line began to form of all our friends and family waiting to congratulate us. It was so nice to hug everyone and thank them for joining us on our special day. Some traveled several hours by car and some by plane to be with us! Rhett and I took a quick little break from chatting to cut our cake and toast. Our cake was made by Peggy Barmore (Rhett's aunt) and we toasted with two glass Coca Cola bottles.

It was then time for the father-daughter dance. My dad and I danced to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland and it was absolutely precious. I don't think we've ever danced together before so it was truly a special, special moment. Of course, the serious dancing didn't last long because it was time to party! Our DJ, family friend Gary Brantley, played tons of fun dance music for us and our guests really seemed to enjoy themselves. At some point in time, we did our garter and bouquet toss, but I don't remember it all that well, lol!

To be honest, by this point, Rhett and I were exhausted!! We had planned to stay at the reception at least another hour, but we just couldn't do it! We let our coordinator know and she began gathering things for our grand sparkler exit. We left the reception and headed to Downtown Greenville where we stayed at the Westin Poinsett Hotel. (We got lost on the way and went to bed hungry, but that's another story for another time!)

So - was our mission accomplished? You betcha! I'm not officially Mrs. Blaksley Rhett Sapough and my sweet husband and I are blessed beyond words. We give all the praise and glory to God our Father and are thankful to our sweet friends and family that made the day so perfect!

Our sweet first dance together as Mr. & Mrs!

We literally could not get the knife to cooperate - we ended butchering our piece of cake! LOL

My dad will always be the first man I ever loved.

Who knew Rhett had moves like that?! I sure didn't!!

And away we go.....!
